		<description>I would add to this that whomever is greeting needs to be capable of making eye contact with the customer - being persistent with it (it seems to be a skill a lot of younger people have a hard time with). Hiring for maturity throughout the store is a big help in this area - a more mature associate tends to be (there are of course always exceptions)  more able to generate and maintain a conversational topic - great customer service and maximum &quot;I know what you&#039;re up to!&quot; face time...</description>
